Born in 1945. Graduated from Osaka Medical College in March 1971. Entered General Digestive Surgery (the former Second Surgery) of Osaka Medical College in April 1971. After serving as a lecturer at Osaka Medical College, became the director of the Kurokawa Umeda Proctology Center in April 1980. Hospital director of Kurokawa Umeda Proctology Center (March 1998 - Present). By combining the advantages of classic therapy and the latest surgical treatment, providing gentle and highly curative treatments.

Former board member of the Japan Society of Coloproctology (1998 - 2007). Coordinator of the Kinki Area Anal Disease Council (Osaka), and Coordinator of the Coloproctology Council (Tokyo). Specialist/instructor of the Japan Society of Coloproctology. Qualified surgeon of the Japan Surgical Society, Japanese Society of Pathology, Japanese Society of Gastroenterological Surgery, Japanese Society of Gastroenterology, and Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society.
